Caution for disordered eating thoughts and patterns.

This hits home for me in so many ways. As I read it, I kept wanting to scream, THIS IS ME! THIS IS ME!

It’s so hard being in between sick and well. I was there for so long. I related to this post very much too. I did finally make it to a place…after a long battle. But there is hope for peace. I had to find out.
    Much love and strength.

    • I’m glad you found peace eventually. I’m still pretty young (25) but I feel old ’cause I have to use a cane to walk and I’ve been through a lot already; I get impatient to feel that peace.

I’m almost 41 (next month :)) and I finally found peace recently. I have hope that the more we share..the shorter that journey can be. It is possible.I connected with a part of me that could feel future self. I could feel peace as the me in the future..but that was a start. I kept reaching until I caught up with her. She was closer than I knew.
I have felt older too. Our bodies go through a darn lot on this journey. But I assure you my spirit is so strong. Not sure I would trade that in.
        Much love to you…and strength,

      • (My birthday is next month too! The 11th!) This gives me hope. I read somewhere recently that people in their 20s are much less happy than people in their 40s and older but I can’t remember how the article got to that conclusion (I think it was an article on a study). I’ve been working hard on making room in my life (mentally) for good things to happen and am working on managing my anxiety in a more positive way, so maybe my happy future self is closer than I think, too. 🙂
Our bodies really do go through a lot on this journey we call life. I think my spirit is stronger than I give it credit for most of the time.
Strength and love to you too, Laurie.

I used my imagination to feel what it would be like when I was healed. I think that was an important piece. I am certain she is close. Thanks for the kind words. Made my day. 🙂

      • That is very cool!
And you’re welcome! I hope you have a good weekend.
